Job Description
Lead Systems Engineer for a permanent role within an engineering company in Clevedon, BS21. This is a new role due to a period of growth within the company and will have responsibility for leading, empowering, and motivating a growing team of Systems Engineers for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Salary and Benefits:
* Up to £58,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Monday to Friday - Flexible start/finish times

About the Role:
* Concept to customer commissioning and field trials
* The application of best-practice engineering to ensure on-time delivery, within strategic operational budget and to specification
* Work at the core of our engineering and product development teams using Systems Engineering tools and methods to bring clarity from ambiguity
* Translate product visions into clear and concise requirements using Systems Engineering processes such as Use Cases, Context Diagrams, Architectures, and more
* Use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods to develop Functional, Logical, and Behavioural architectures to understand the operations and flow of the System
* Lead and coach a growing core team of Systems Engineers of all levels of expertise to continue their development towards being a Lead SE themselves.
The Right Candidate:
* Systems Engineering Degree, or demonstrable equivalent
* More than 5 years experience of practical application of best-practice Systems Engineering in a relatable engineering industry
* Excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels and able to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams
* High level of integrity and accountability with a results-driven mindset, able to set the standard, and hold people accountable to deliver
* Experience of effectively coaching others
