Contribute to the breast MDT and play an active part in the further modernisation and development of the service. Play a major role in maintaining the 28 day, 31 and 62 days targets for cancer patients and ensuring that other targets are met.
Assessment, care and treatment of patients presenting to the breast service. Provision of clinical leadership in the delivery of a high quality breast service.
Providing teaching and training at undergraduate and postgraduate level. A role in the teaching of medical students is expected. Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including reviews of manpower requirements. Be involved in research and abide by the clinical and corporate governance policies of the trust.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in the annual job planning review to be eligible for pay progression. Support and mentoring will be provided by the clinical supervisor.
