About the role.
To manage the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes across the organization.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify process inefficiencies, drive business transformation initiatives, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
The role will collaborate with key stakeholders across our matrix structure, including group and sector, functional heads, and operational teams, to standardise and optimise workflows, leverage technology, enhance productivity, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
In addition to playing a crucial role in enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness, this role also provides wider business support to broader activities impacting the group as required.
Accountabilities: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for process improvement across the organization.
Manage the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of end-to-end business processes.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes using data analytics, process mapping, and stakeholder input.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track process efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes.
Future translation of processes to new organisational ERP platform Manage and mentor a team of process improvement specialists, providing guidance and support in project execution and problem-solving.
Champion process improvement initiatives across the organization and work to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives and process optimisation initiatives.
Partner with department heads to understand business needs and align process improvements with corporate goals.
Create and manage forum to engage with the wider business on business process initiatives and embed change.
Ensure buy-in for process improvements by managing the overall narrative of the function of efficiency and effectiveness through standardisation.
Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to executives, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
Collaborate with IT, operations, and other departments to ensure successful process automation and digital transformation.
Manage process improvement projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure that project objectives are clearly defined, risks are mitigated, and resources are allocated efficiently.
Track progress of initiatives and report on achievements and areas requiring further attention Foster a mindset of continuous improvement across the organization, encouraging staff to identify and suggest enhancements.
Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and process improvement techniques to ensure the business remains competitive.
Develop and implement frameworks for ongoing process monitoring and iterative improvements.
Ensure that all process changes comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Establish governance mechanisms to assess the sustainability of process changes over time and prevent process deterioration.
About you.
Significant experience in Customer or Commercial Management at a senior level with proven track record of managing complex transformational projects Strong communication skills, influencing & project management skills Analytical, KPI focussed and understands how to drive performance to achieve desired results Manages & builds trusting relationships through proactive engaging team work, influencing key stakeholders through the Bakkavor values Inspirational People Manager focused on coaching & develop a strong and high effective team Dynamic, agile & innovative in approach Manage business and customer end to end process driving profitable Highly Resilient, adaptable to change, challenge norms Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Experience of data management tools (Power BI) and process tools (MS Visio) preferred.
