HR Officer
Dorking, Surrey
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
£40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus an attractive benefits package.
Our Dorking-based client is expanding their HR team. As a member of the HR team, you will support the department and the company in complying with UK employment laws and company policies. The department provides support in areas such as recruitment, employment systems, HR records/administration, employee development, employee engagement & wellbeing, and company strategic objectives. The successful HR Officer will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to maintain and build upon a positive and productive company culture.
The successful HR Officer will have:
1. Previous commercial HR experience
2. Flexibility to changing needs of workload
3. Strong organisation and time management skills
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Ability to work independently as well as part of the HR team
6. Policy creation and implementation experience
7. Relevant professional qualifications - CIPD level 3 or 5 preferred
8. Intermediate to advanced level in all MS Office packages
9. Experience in the creation and implementation of employee engagement and wellbeing strategies
10. Experience with HR software
11. Experience in investigations and note-taking during meetings
