The Cultural Programming Manager will be responsible for assisting with the organisation, planning and curating of the Estelle Manor cultural programme of events taking place throughout the year. The events at Estelle Manor range from in-conversations with speakers such as Director of Frieze Masters, Nathan Clements-Gillespie; creative workshops with artists and makers such as Zeena Shah; pool parties with DJs including Nick Grimshaw, sports tournaments and quizzes and full takeovers for summer and festive parties, to name but a few!
Please note due to the nature of the role, some weekend and evening work will be required.
What will you do?
* Work closely with the Head of Membership at Estelle Manor toidentify key dates in the social calendar to enhance and offer a well-rounded cultural events programme, whilst building and driving revenue during lean periods
* Work closely with the events and ops teams to meticulously plan, manage and debrief on all events.
* Ensure best standard of service is provided to members / clients from first impression, and thereafter through all mediums of communication in the organisation and then to final delivery, always act as ambassadorial role for the club.
* Assist in managing budgets and all expenses are accounted for
* Consistently achieve a high level of member satisfaction by exhibiting a positive attitude and building trust, ensuring commitments are met and expectations are exceeded by understanding members / client’s needs and priorities.
* Spending time to build relationships with prospective contacts and members who may be involved in the future programme.
* Updating event calendar and team members calendars with correct running order details.
* Organise menus, including allergies and names, along with ordering in good time with the printers.
* Create all BEO’s and understand the needs and requirements of our members, ensuring all the correct information is re-laid to relevant onsite operations teams.
* Meticulously monitor guest reviews and feedback to your team on successes, areas of development, and any potential follow up needed.
* Work closely with the Marketing & Comms department to ensure all newsletter deadlines are met promptly
* Create copy for the newsletters and source suitable images for the online portal and monthly mailers
* Being an ambassador for the hotel and club as well as someone who embodies our values and commitment to our teams both when at work and when not.
Who are we looking for?
* Proven experience in events management or similar, ideally from a luxury hospitality setting.
* Excellent stakeholder management skilly with the ability to seamlessly build relationships with our members.
* Strong administrative abilities; comfortable prioritising what is important during busy periods.
* A genuine passion for hospitality and hosting.
