KPE Audit Assistant Manager
Locations: Audit hub - Nottingham

KPE Audit is responsible for the high-quality delivery of audit engagements from planning through to completion. Working with privately owned entities and working across a range of businesses from fast growth to large international established groups, as well as across different industries
What will you be doing?
1. You will be working with audited entities in a range of industries and sizes from pre-revenue start-ups to global private equity backed groups.
2. Alongside audit delivery work, you will also supervise junior team members, and provide coaching and development to help them reach their full potential
3. You will be conducting the planning and execution of audit fieldwork.
4. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stakeholder relationships at audited entities.
5. You will be responsible for the day-to-day high-quality delivery of audit engagements.
What will you need to do it?
6. Professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body
7. Exposure to working knowledge of International Standards on Auditing
8. Sound working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
9. Experience of using proprietary software to manage the audit workflow and document audit evidence
10. Experience of managing small teams, coaching and mentoring junior staff
Additional skills we'd love to see
11. Audit experience within a 'Big 4' consultancy, mid-tier firm, or government / public sector audit department
12. Strong working knowledge of US GAAS / PCOAB standards
13. Sound working knowledge of US GAAP
