The Abbey Practice is looking to recruit an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly team based in Arbroath. The Abbey Practice operates under a General Practice 2c arrangement with NHS Tayside.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner who will work in partnership with General Practitioners, Practice Nursing Team, Practice Manager, Administrative Staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
As part of supporting the practice development plan and RCGP Vision for General Practice, your role will facilitate scheduled, unscheduled and urgent care to our practice population with a person centred focus and safe, effective evidence based care.
As well as having skills in advanced practice, you should have the ability to work autonomously and have commitment to professional development. We have a strong team ethos and fully support training and education requirements for practice development.
You will be a UK Registered Nurse with previous advanced practice experience and posses a qualification in non medical prescribing.
It is important that you can work as part of a team and provide a degree of flexibility with regards to work patterns.
Hours of work are up to 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1800 hours. These hours are open to negotiation and job share would be considered.
