Job summary No Agencies An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed Doctor to join Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's friendly and enthusiastic Occupational Health team. The Occupational Health service is well regarded within the region and continues to develop a high standard service and is currently undertaking SEQOHS accreditation in 2025. The post is for 4 PAs per week, primarily based at King's Mill Hospital but also includes a satellite clinic at Newark Hospital when required. The successful applicant will contribute to the provision of Occupational Health services to the Trust and also other NHS and none NHS income generation clients. The successful applicant will support both day to day services and will play a key role in the strategic development of the People Health agenda at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service is Nurse Led, offering a broad range of expertise. The team includes Occupational Health Staff, Occupational Physiotherapy, Health and Wellbeing, and Staff Clinical Psychology, working collaboratively with support from an experienced administration team. The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Team provide a highly regarded service, supporting both Sherwood Forest Hospitals and the wider NHS providers in our area. The service always aims to work collaboratively with other partners and frequently works with the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS to deliver the best service possible. Main duties of the job To work within the Occupational Health Department primarily at King's Mill Hospital but also at Newark Hospital satellite clinic as and when required. Maintenance of the highest clinical standards in the management of clients. Responsibility for the day-to-day management of clients attending the Occupational Health Department in conjunction with colleagues. To be the Infection Prevention and Control lead for the Occupational Health service, including representing the service at the Infection Prevention and Control Committee when required. To ensure individual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Mandatory Training requirements are met.
