We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time receptionist to join our expanding team. As a receptionist, you will be required to provide a point of contact for patients and assist them in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional.
The successful applicant will need to be an excellent team player, with experience in managing multiple tasks of a varied nature and have experience of dealing with the public. Experience within a similar role is preferred but not necessary for the right candidate.
Main duties of the job
Previous General Practice experience and an understanding of the NHS is preferable but not essential as full training can be given. Experience in patient management, care navigator skills, being able to talk to people on the telephone, front desk reception work involving face-to-face contact with patients, excellent admin skills, and a knowledge of SystmOne, Footfall, and AccuRx is preferable; however, full training can be given. There are also opportunities to diversify within the surgery.

* Experience of working in a healthcare reception role.
* Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines when faced with conflicting demands.
