Deneholm Primary School is an extremely happy and positive school looking to appoint a highly effective, caring, enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This role will also include additional Midday Assistant duties.
The successful candidate will:
1. be experienced in working with children at early stages of their learning development
2. be experienced in supporting children with learning difficulties such as Global Development Delay, ASD and ADHD
3. have the ability to create positive learning environments
4. have high expectations of pupil attainment and behaviour
5. have evidence of ability to enthuse and motivate pupils
6. have a strong and caring personality and is calm, patient and firm
7. have good organisation and communication skills
8. be committed to providing a 'child-centred nurturing' ethos, collaborative team-work and flexible working.
