JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for partnering across multiple functions, supporting the design, delivery and governance of Loss Prevention materials and programmes, ensuring operational best practice, consistency and optimal deliverables, across multiple jurisdictional areas within the TJXE estate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Partnering
* Plays a key role in the success of the business through effective Business Partnering to support corporate and functional Goals and Priorities.
* Leverages relationships to ensure that the Loss Prevention focus remains on Business Partners agenda, acting as a SME within focused business area.
* Consistent use of different communication methods in business area to ensure all team members and business partners are fully aware of exposures.
* Supports knowledge level of business partners. Highlights areas where there are shortfalls and supports to upskill knowledge of others.
* Offer advice and support to both internal and external partners.
* Work with internal and external partners on projects to ensure any new process or procedure includes the appropriate level of controls to minimise any operational exposures to loss.
* Uses interpersonal skills to engage with others creating a culture of coaching and support.
Design and Delivery
* Supports the development and delivery of relevant standard operating procedures, user guides, and training and development materials ensuring operational best practice and consistency across the LP estate.
* Maintains flexibility across multiple projects in complex terrains where the end goal may not always be obvious from inception, remaining laser focused on what needs to be achieved
* Maintains multiple workstreams ensuring appropriate regulatory and legislative issues are considered and updated in light of any changes.
* Scans own strategic plans and workstreams to ensure relevance to functional needs.
* Constantly scans own work stream to ensure risks or derailers are identified early and prioritised.
People and Talent
* Takes responsibility for maintaining oneself in the industry knowledge of Loss Prevention
* Has a desire to explore project work and able to identify opportunities within the business, ready for growth
* Undertakes development programmes or training courses, on an on-going basis and applies to own learning.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Experience of a fast paced, operational environment.
* Experience of a Loss Prevention function within a retail organisation would be desired, however not essential.
* Articulate communicator both verbal and written.
* Experience of partnering across multiple functions.
* Good working knowledge of criminal law, especially Theft Act, Fraud Act, PACE, DPA.
* Ability to multi-task, manage remotely, time manage, communicate timely and engage others.
* Ability to influence both internal and external partners, on occasion at a more senior level.
* Ability to organise self and often work in isolation.
* IT literate to be able to use IT systems.
* Confident to give feedback.
* Flexible to react at short notice to security breaches across the Supply Chain.
* Be able to meet the needs of European travel
