Our client is a PE backed multi-site healthcare provider with impressive growth plans which include a nationwide roll-out and potential M&A opportunities. They are now seeking an ambitious and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their highly driven leadership team, based in London. Helping to lead the business through the next stage of its phase of growth, the CFO will have full responsibility for the finance function, financial planning strategies and will play a critical role across all investment and funding activities. Reporting to the CEO you will be highly strategic and will be responsible for regular communication to the Board and for providing high-quality forecasts, management information and data that will enable business-critical decision making with confidence. The CFO will have ultimate responsibility for all finance-related activities across the company, including optimization of cash flow management and for ensuring rigorous financial controls are embedded. This is a truly hands-on role and requires someone able to lead by example.
About the Role
Key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to the following:
* Work with the senior management team, founders and investors, to monitor and manage the business and to drive the growth and successful performance of the business.
* Provide strategic support to the senior management team in the creation and delivery of their growth strategy, providing expert advice on both growth opportunity areas and their execution.
* Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and risk assessment.
* Develop and maintain robust financial controls and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and recommending corrective actions as needed.
* Provide timely and accurate financial information to internal stakeholders, investors, and board members.
* Manage the annual audit process and ensure rigorous compliance with all relevant financial reporting requirements.
* Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
* Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Required Skills
* Proven track record as a CFO, ideally with experience in private equity-backed businesses.
* Experience of working in a multi-site business (healthcare / consumer beneficial)
* Understanding and experience of value creation.
* M&A experience advantageous.
* Experience of delivering value to shareholders through successful exits either PE and/or Trade beneficial
* Strong financial acumen and a deep understanding of financial principles, reporting, and analysis.
* Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Be forward-looking and commercial in approach. Naturally looking for ways to drive additional shareholder value.
