The Job:
In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to oversee and shape the financial strategy of the company, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability.
The role requires strategic vision, exceptional financial acumen, and hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to support their continued global expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that align with the company’s objectives and future growth plans.
2. Manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Ensure financial compliance with UK laws and regulations and oversee audits and regulatory filings.
4. Collaborate with regional and global teams to streamline financial processes and maintain alignment across the organization.
5. Oversee risk management and implement effective internal controls.
6. Provide financial reports, insights and recommendations to the CEO and board of directors to support decision-making.
7. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, investors, and auditors.
8. Drive operational efficiencies, cost management, and profitability improvements across the business.
9. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
About You:
1. Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally as a CFO, within a fast-paced company.
2. Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
3. Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, corporate governance, and tax compliance.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead in a dynamic, global business environment.
5. Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
6. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
7. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
8. Familiar with Excel, Sage and accounting software.
