Come and join the UKIE Video team, responsible for the Apple TV app, which includes Apple TV+, transactional movies and TV, native channels, and federated video apps. Our team drives overall revenue and subscriber growth for Apple TV+, curating and managing the app experience while striving to acquire, engage, and retain audiences for Apple TV+ and our partners. We are looking for an expert hands-on Editor, experienced in film and TV trends with a solid understanding of audience segmentation. They will use data to help inform how the TV app will allow users to find content they love across all of their devices.
Description
Curate and maintain an engaging, insights-informed platform of Apple TV+ releases, as well as film and television releases found via our content distribution partners. Collaborate with internal teams to drive the creation of consumer-facing assets on the platform. Bring new platform features and enhancements to life in the market while operating under tight deadlines. Parse through platform metrics and datasets to identify trends and opportunities and use relevant learnings to continually hone a national platform for viewers and audiences of all taste profiles. Cultivate and embody the Apple tone of voice and branding across all Video initiatives, with an emphasis on topical cultural moments and local releases. This is a fixed-term contract that will run from May/June 25 to May/June 26.
Minimum Qualifications
* Proven demonstrable experience within the TV/movie industry in curation and programming.
* Strong familiarity with film and TV entertainment trends, both in consumer engagement and consumption.
* Demonstrable success using data to inform programming strategies.
* Expertise in working across content management systems and multiple content management toolsets, while also seeking out best practices to improve workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
* Extensive experience working within the TV & Movie industry.
* Experience working in a cross-functional organization.
* Experience with Apple Tools: Numbers, Keynote, and Pages.
* A passion for and understanding of Apple brands and products.
