The Orchard Recovery Group offers Restore service users (Members) the opportunity to engage in a range of structured activities aimed at supporting them to take control of their mental health recovery, develop skills, build confidence, and connect with peers.
The Recovery Group staff team provides information, support, and guidance, delivering craft and woodwork activities alongside access to one-to-one coaching and tailored resources on employment and training.
As a team leader, they will be expected to implement all aspects of the work of the project as agreed with the group, including running a commercial café and shop and running specific courses to build the members' skills. Café on-site sales to the public of goods produced by the group will also be part of the role. They will participate in running open days and other fundraising and awareness events.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following criteria:
* Experience of managing a staff team and/or a team of volunteers
* Good reporting and IT skills in Word, Excel, and Database
* Qualified to Level C GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
* Knowledge and experience of working with people with mental health problems
* Awareness and understanding of the issues faced by people with Multiple and Complex Needs
* Ability to keep accurate and up-to-date records and support others to do so
* To recognize and value all aspects of diversity and an understanding of the importance of Equality, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
