The Role: The Direct Sales team function aims to increase new business, identify external opportunities and maximise in-house cross sell. The function consists of three teams including Lead Generation, Deal Closing & Renewals. The purpose of the Lead Generator is to provide opportunities, create appointments and collect information from new and existing CRM data for the Deal Closing function. The Responsibilities: Achieve productivity and sales budget KPI’s set out by the Company. Develop an understanding of customer requirements to offer a client focused service. Adhere to FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities relating to Sales function and the role. Perform your role with a positive, constructive and professional attitude within a highly fast paced team working environment. Ensure all compliance regulation and legislation is adhered to where relevant. Interact professionally with the Head of, Team Managers, and the various support teams. Any other request deemed reasonable from your line manager. The Requirements: Ability to work independently and pro-actively. High degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success. Demonstrate a commitment to achieve the highest standards. Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions Previous experience within a high performing Sales environment, minimum 12-24 months required. Previous experience in Financial Services environment would be advantageous e.g. insurance, lending, business-to-business. Computer literacy. Eagerness to learn with a will to succeed
