Part-time Accounts Assistant Search are working with a small, family-run business in Runcorn. Our client is looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit team in a standalone position over 3 days. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a flexible, part-time role within a supportive and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities include: Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining accurate financial records. Reconciling bank accounts and supplier statements. Managing petty cash and handling employee expenses. Assisting with VAT returns and payroll preparation. Monitoring customer payments and chasing overdue invoices as needed. Providing general administrative support to the finance team. Skills required: Previous experience in an accounts or finance role (e.g., Accounts Assistant, Finance Administrator). Looking for a Part-time position Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero). Excellent organisational and time management skills. A friendly and approachable personality, with a team-oriented attitude. Experience within a small business environment would be an advantage.
