Purpose of the role We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Regional Business Manager to lead a team of Account Managers working across Dermatology, Rheumatology and Gastroenterology within our London and East of England region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, coaching, development, mentorship and performance evaluation to ensure individual and team success. What to expect: You will: Lead the Account Manager team to deliver clinical sales excellence and ensure Johnson & Johnson Immunology brands achieve the desired sales objectives. Embed the sales vision, strategy, and objectives appropriately, encouraging collaboration and teamwork, contributing to the achievement of overall business goals. Mentor and develop sales team members by providing regular feedback, including regular in-field mentor sessions. Set clear performance expectations and objectives for team members. Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback. Foster a positive team culture that encourage motivation and engagement. Deliver against allocated regional sales targets & aspirations, brand metrics, financial targets, marketing objectives, etc. Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and development within the region. Prepare and present regional performance reports and forecasts to senior management, demonstrating progress towards functional goals. Ensure compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations, company policies and Credo values. Coordinate and participate in regional conferences, cycle meetings, and other J&J events and engage with relevant audiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and regulatory, to ensure alignment on business objectives and product launches. Who are we looking for? A minimum of 2 years business leadership experience is required with a proven track record of leading high-profile teams. Experience of coaching or mentoring sales representatives to improve their performance. Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team. Ensure accurate and timely management of CRM and business analytics tools. High level understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, compliance, and market dynamics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage collaborators. Strong analytical skills, ability to analyse data from multiple sources and identify insights, themes, operational issues, and areas for improvement. Strong networking skills with the ability to create and develop collaborative working relationships across different departments. Ability to travel as needed to meet client needs, attend industry events and attend regular in field meetings with Account Manager team members. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. ABPI qualified. What type of mark will you make ?
