As Business Development Manager (Perishables), you will account manage new and existing Fresh Produce customers in our dynamic, growing Cargo business. You will build and deliver strategic partnerships with customers up and down the supply chain delivering and growing our pipeline of business, creating supply chain legacy solutions.
You will be joining us at a very exciting time as we embark the delivery of our new Port Development.
Working in partnership with our Operational team to deliver bespoke Commercial and International projects within one of Europe's busiest ports.
Skills and Qualifications
* Highly competent Business Development Manager
* Extensive fresh produce industry experience within either a port environment, shipping, logistics, supply chain, fresh produce, grower/food importer or related sector
* Strong demonstratable background within relationship management
* Excellent understanding of shipping and global supply chains
* Experience of developing detailed commercial proposals
* You would be response for managing the customer enquiry from concept to implementation and account manage
* Be passionate about growth and innovation, driven to exceed targets and creatively solve problems
* Project Management experience would be desirable
* Be able to undertake International, European and UK travel
* Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle is essential

Salary: £DOE
