Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team in Potters Bar, providing exceptional care to young people aged 13–18. This permanent position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £33,000 to £38,000, depending on experience, plus a £5,000 welcome bonus. You will work flexible shifts covering both days and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for young people with mental health needs.
* Develop therapeutic relationships with patients to support their mental health and well-being.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
* Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment plans.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
* Valid NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) registration.
* Experience working with young people in a mental health setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
