Role: Financial Controller
Location: Warwickshire
Salary: c£50k+ (Depending on Experience)
Experience Required:
1. Qualified or QBE – CIMA/ACCA
2. Experience in a consultancy or similar business
3. Project accounting understanding
4. High level of Excel capability
5. Sage 200 experience desirable
6. Ability to deal with all levels of staff including engineers
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monthly Management and Project Accounts for both the US and UK business
2. Preparation of Operational Board reporting for UK and US performance on a monthly basis
3. Monthly attendance at project WIP meetings and ownership of project accounting
4. Development of Finance project involvement from bids/tenders to completion
5. Annual budget and quarterly forecasting process, development of rolling forecasts
6. Development and implementation of financial accounting and controls within the business, ensuring consistency across the group where applicable
7. Responsible for Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll alongside three team members, to include management and development
8. Support tax planning for the UK and US businesses, with particular focus around R&D
9. Statutory Accounts preparation alongside all other statutory submissions co-ordinating with the external Auditors where necessary
10. Year end Audit
11. Assisting in the development and progression of Business Support throughout the business
12. Supporting the US Finance Team and MD on an ad-hoc basis
13. Managing an effective and efficient day to day operation in Finance
14. Continue to develop and integrate the Finance Dept with counterparts at parent Company
15. Review and update Company Policies where applicable
