Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Birkenhead
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus commission and company car
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and enhancing our business presence within the drainage industry. This role requires a proactive, client-focused professional with strong industry knowledge and technical expertise. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to deliver comprehensive drainage solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s commercial client base.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth.
* Develop and deliver tailored proposals, quotes, and presentations based on client requirements.
* Collaborate with various departments (operations, technical, and finance) to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for business development and improvement.
* Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years of sales experience within the drainage industry.
* Proven track record in business development, with the ability to generate and close new business opportunities.
* Strong technical knowledge of drainage systems and solutions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business goals.
