We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading construction and property consultancy based in York. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
2. Liaising with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are met.
3. Managing project budgets and forecasting costs.
4. Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met on site.
5. Leading a team of project managers and consultants to deliver successful projects.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 7 years' experience in project management within the construction and property industry.
2. A degree in a relevant field such as construction management, architecture or engineering.
3. Chartered membership of a relevant professional body such as the CIOB or RICS.
4. Strong communication, leadership and team-working skills.
5. An excellent understanding of project management methodologies such as Prince2 and Agile.
On offer for the Senior Project Manager:
1. A starting salary of £55,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
2. 27 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to buy or sell 5 days.
3. Pension.
4. Hybrid working.
