HR Consultant
Pay: £36,000 to £40,000 depending on your experience
Location: Working from home with the requirement to travel predominantly across South Wales to meet the needs of our clients
Hours: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible Working Available)

The Role:
As an HR Consultant at Healthy HR, you will provide expert guidance and support to our clients across various sectors. Your role will be essential in helping businesses build robust HR frameworks, tackle complex employee relations issues, and help to create cultures where people thrive. This position offers flexibility, variety, and the chance to work closely with clients on various projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
* HR Advisory & Consulting: Offer expert advice on a range of HR topics, including employee relations, performance management, organisational change, and workplace well-being.
* Compliance & Policy Development: Ensure client compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements while developing and implementing tailored HR policies that align with client goals and values.
* Employee Relations Management: Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, guiding clients through complex situations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
* Training & Development: Design and deliver engaging training sessions on HR best practices, management skills, and mental health and well-being to support client development and enhance workplace culture.
* Project Management: Lead and manage specific HR projects, such as recruitment processes, restructuring, performance management systems, or culture change initiatives.
* Well-being Advocacy: Support Healthy HR’s mission to prioritise employee well-being by helping clients implement well-being programs and initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce burnout, and support mental health.
* Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate client records, prepare reports, and offer insightful feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Any other reasonable requests that come with working in a small business where the entire team rolls up their sleeves to grow the business and meet the needs of our clients.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who’s naturally organised, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in getting things done. You’ll need to be comfortable juggling different tasks and have a can-do/solutions-focused attitude. You will have experience advising on a vast range of HR issues, and your advice will be tailored to the needs of the business, employment law, best practice, the business culture, and the individual situation. You’ll be able to adapt your style and behaviours to suit whatever situation you’re faced with, and you know the importance of fantastic communication, always! We’re keen to invest in someone who is passionate about self-development because we understand that when you grow, those around you grow, too. If you naturally embrace change and push yourself outside of your comfort zone, then this will be the role for you.
Essential Skills & Qualities:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with proven expertise in employee relations, HR compliance, and organisational development.
* Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in the UK.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
* Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
* Empathetic, approachable, and collaborative, with a passion for creating great places to work.
* CIPD qualification (Level 5 or higher) or equivalent experience.
* A natural organiser with the ability to handle multiple tasks and stay on top of deadlines.
* Fantastic communication skills – you’re confident talking to people and writing clear emails, and you know how to make clients feel looked after and make sure that relevant people are kept informed at the right time.
* A real eye for detail and accuracy – whether you’re writing an investigation report or providing specific advise to a client.
* A team player with a positive, proactive approach to challenges.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and happy to learn new software.
* Discretion and professionalism – you’ll be dealing with confidential information.
* Flexible attitude and able to remain calm under pressure.
* A passion for continuous improvement, automation and technology.
