Base pay range
New Assistant Company Secretary hire (6-12 month-FTC) working with a top performing specialty insurer operating within the Lloyd’s market. You will play a key role in assisting the Deputy CoSec and Head of Legal with the provision of CoSec and governance services to the Managing Agency and its respective syndicates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide efficient and high-quality company secretarial support to Boards and Committees.
* Support compliance with statutory and regulatory CoSec and governance requirements.
* Lead and support governance enhancement projects to drive continuous improvement.
* Maintain and update statutory registers to ensure accurate record-keeping.
* Review and update governance policies, standards, and documentation.
* Organise and coordinate director training programs and Board effectiveness reviews.
* Provide KYC support to relevant functions within the organization.
* Contribute to the development of company secretarial practices.
* Manage the department’s email inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner.
* Foster and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Company Secretarial experience working within the Insurance industry (Lloyd’s preferred).
* Immediately available or on one months’ notice or less.
