Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a Rota Supervisor to assist and support the Surgical Management Team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospital to cover maternity leave. The post holder will also be required to manage the approval and collation of all aspects of Doctors' leave in line with the processes in place. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will be expected to provide an efficient and effective service in a pressured environment. The postholder will work closely with the General Manager, and Junior Doctors developing the on-call rota and maintaining on a daily basis.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and proven administrative experience, including keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems. Candidates will also need to demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail and have the ability to prioritize their workload in order to meet tight timescales.Previous experience with rota coordination, working in a Workforce Department or working with senior medical staff and Doctors is desirable although not essential.
