Reeson Education is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Enfield. This is an ideal role for a Psychology graduate or a professional with a deep interest in child development, emotional well-being, and SEN.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, using your Psychology knowledge to assist in implementing targeted support strategies.
About the SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
1. Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position
2. Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver tailored interventions
3. Helping children develop communication, social skills, and emotional resilience
4. Liaising closely with class teachers, SENCO, and therapists
Ideal Profile for SEN Teaching Assistant:
1. A degree in Psychology or related subject, or previous SEN support experience
2. Strong understanding of child development, mental health, or SEN strategies
3. A compassionate, calm, and encouraging SEN Teaching Assistant approach
4. DBS on the update service (or willingness)
