FP&A Manager - About The Role
This position will be partnering with the Exec and Leadership team, and therefore you will have experience of working within a true business partnering position where you have been responsible for the commercial FP&A function for a business. This position will drive new initiatives out to both the finance reporting team and the business to ensure a robust level of commercial reporting, including trend analysis and financial performance for this organisation. In addition to building out the reporting profile for this business, you will also lead and execute a software implementation to support the business modelling reporting.
Responsibilities:
1. Produce management information on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting cycles, providing in-depth analysis.
2. Develop insightful commercial analysis to ensure collaborative and cohesive business decisions are made.
3. Lead and develop the consolidated budgeting and forecasting processes, setting out both Opex & Capex requirements.
4. Act as a Business Partner, being the primary source of financial insight for decision making, to ensure metrics are understood and followed up on to drive profitability.
5. Work with the wider finance and business teams to produce short, medium, and long-term cashflow forecasting for operational cashflow requirements and to support long-term strategic planning.
The successful FP&A Manager will have:
1. A full accounting qualification - ICAEW / ACCA / CA.
2. Experience of working within a multi-currency consolidation environment, ideally within manufacturing.
3. Experience of reporting at either group or consolidation level.
4. Experience of modelling reporting.
5. Strong commercial and business acumen.
6. Experience of working within a commercial reporting capacity.
7. Experience of working with an ERP software platform such as Oracle or SAP.
8. Experience of working with M&A activity.
