Birchwood is a well-established, all round inclusive, co-educational secondary school and sixth form. We are seeking to appoint, for September 2025, a Head of Science. The Science faculty at Birchwood is a team of exceptionally committed teachers and technicians. They work tirelessly to support not only the students but also each other. The successful applicant will no doubt have their own vision and strategies and they will take over a team of staff and students who are ready, willing and able to be led by them on the next part of their journey. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is currently a successful second in Science or Head of Biology / Chemistry / Physics to take the next step in their career. Equally this post would suit a more experienced Head of Science.
