To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary children’s team to provide play support to meet the needs of children and young people admitted to the Unit aged - on an individual basis.
Main duties of the job
The Playroom is situated within the Children’s Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital and the post holder will be based within the playroom as part of the nursing team and will also be expected to provide play in different areas of the hospital where children are catered for. The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively and co-operatively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide play to children and young people – years, some with complex and specialist play needs.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
