Key Responsibilities:
Designing highway drainage systems in accordance with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) for ETE project work Managing and checking designs related to LLFA, S278, S38, and S106 Designing foul and surface water drainage systems in compliance with Building Regulations and the Sewers for Adoption (Sewage Industry Guidance) Specialist design of small packaged sewage treatment plants and drainage fields, mounds, and outfalls (desirable skill) Conducting flood modelling for pluvial and fluvial scenarios (desirable skill) Utilising AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS for design purposes Writing contracts using SHW (Highways England) and/or NBS formats Applying highway design skills in line with Manual for Streets and DMRB standards
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in drainage design within the highway and development sectors Experience with LLFA, S278, S38, and S106 design and checking Knowledge in foul and surface water drainage design to regulatory standards Desirable skills in specialist sewage treatment plant design and flood modelling Competence in using AutoCAD/Civils 3D or Causeway Live/PDS software Experience in contract writing with SHW and/or NBS formats Highway design skills using Manual for Streets and DMRB This position requires a 37-hour work week.
