Role : Key Account Manager – Maintenance & Monitoring Location : Shenton House, Andover (this is an office based role) Salary : £35,000 to £45,000, plus £7k/pa car allowance Shenton Group is on the lookout for a motivated and contract experienced Key Account Manager to join our Maintenance and Monitoring team What’s the role? As a Key Account Manager, you will be in a client facing role focused specifically on evolving our contracts and service business unit all while acting as an ambassador of the Shenton Group brand. This will include liaising and working with clients and prospective clients throughout the UK meaning you need an enthusiastic attitude to achieve the customer’s full requirements. You’ll build a strong network within target industries and companies such as the FM sector and the NHS. Proactively research, make contact with and build insights around industry contacts, decision makers, upcoming potential business opportunities. You’ll establish key relations with contacts and decision makers, provide clear proposition of Maintenance and Monitoring and proactively look to cross-sell opportunities with the focus being the achievement of a small number of new high volume accounts. You’ll travel around the UK on occasion so a flexible approach to working patterns and being comfortable staying away from home is required. What do you need? You need to have a dedicated and determined attitude, and take a positive proactive approach to engaging with your role and your colleagues. You need to be able to collaborate and take responsibility for tasks including methodically following up on opportunities and supporting the growth strategy for the department. You should have at least 3 years relevant experience selling contracts in the industry, or a similar role You should be skilled in handling of commercial situations, including face to face interaction skills particularly relating to sales activities such as closing techniques, understanding requirements, upselling etc Strong IT Skills are essential including Outlook, Excel, and Word while experience of SAP would be beneficial.
