We are working with an established client in North Tyneside who are looking for a Legal Assistant to join their team. The role has a salary ofup to £25,000 depending on experience, working 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Our client, established in North Tyneside over 100 years ago, has developed a trusted reputation through a strong base of repeat clients. This solid foundation has enabled the firm to expand its range of legal services successfully. Role & responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Supporting solicitors and fee earners in handling, preparing and progressing cases. Performing administrative and clerical tasks. Preliminary analysis, research, and investigation of cases. Candidate requirements and attributes: Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills and be adept at dealing with electronic case management and filing systems. Excellent time management skills and will be comfortable working under time constraints, with the ability to work accurately meet deadlines. Good interpersonal skills and be mindful of the need for high levels of discretion when dealing with confidential matters. Good attention to detail and ability to prioritise work. An understanding of the importance of client care and maintaining good client relations. An ability to work well within a team.
