We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a can do attitude and a flexible approach for the varied role in the world of Emergency Planning Resilience and Response (EPRR), this role will give you experience in a wide range of EPRR areas such as multiagency meetings, training, exercises and coordination of system level EPRR. You will further develop expertise in emergency planning and seek to develop good practice by using lessons identified from experiences and debriefs of incidents, exercises and events nationally. This post is part of the EPRR team that seeks to ensure that the integrated care board (ICB) is adequately prepared to meet the demands of a business continuity, critical or major incident and that, as a categorised responder, is compliant with the statutory requirements of the Civil Contingencies Act (2004), The NHS England Core Standards for EPRR and The Health and Social Care Act 2012. Together with the Head of EPRR, you will be a subject matter expert for EPRR and business continuity (BC) and specifically: Planning and Policy and EPRR / BC development. Supporting and reviewing where necessary the development and maintenance of EPRR and BC plans, policies and procedures. In a business continuity, critical or major incident you will support the delivery of the incident response which includes assisting the Head of EPRR in supporting incident management at tactical levels within the ICB. This will be in relation to emergency planning arrangements, using situational awareness to provide advice on the adaptation of those arrangements to meet the needs of the response.
