Reporting to: Registered Care Manager
Duties will include:
* Care Coordination/Rostering/Scheduling: create and manage Care Service rotas for Vulnerable Clients (Service Users) who receive Care in their own homes & allocate suitable Care Staff to Service User Needs.
* Deliver a Safe & Compliant Home Care Service within CQC Guidelines, providing the utmost Customer Service to Services Users and their Families at all times.
* Prioritise well-being of both Care Staff and Service Users when scheduling Care Calls.
* Care Coordination.
* Care Plans.
* Care Worker Spot Checks.
* Administration.
* Auditing & Compliance.
* Safeguarding of both Care Workers & Clients (Service Users).
* Convert Client (Service User) & Recruitment enquiries to the business, liaising with Registered Care Manager & Deputy Care Manager during the process to ensure a safe and robust service.
* Liaise with Key Social Care Parties: Social Workers, GP Practices, NHS Discharge Teams, District Nurses, Hospices, CQC and Community Partners.
* Deliver Personal Care to Clients (Service Users) in the community when needed in order to comply with CQC regulations.
* Be part of a rota'd Team On Call Service.
* Actively promote Day Care, Live In, Respite Facilities to Care Team and Local Community in general.
* Liaise with and Supervise Field Care Supervisors/Team Leaders and Care Workers in delivering a Safe & Quality Service to Vulnerable Services Users & their families.
* Complete further training and development qualifications with support of Registered Manager (NVQ3, Trainer the Trainer, Medication, potential to study NVQ5 if desired), and complete, understand and put into practice New Compliance/Legal/Safeguarding updates.
Desired experience:
* Care Coordination/Rostering/Scheduling experience in creation and management of rotas for Clients (Service Users) who receive Care in their own homes & allocate Care Staff to the Service User either as a Care Coordinator/Scheduler or Senior Carer, Care Supervisor within a Domiciliary Care/Home Care environment.
* Experience of liaising with Service Users and their Families, Professional Key parties: Social Workers, GP Practices, NHS Discharge Teams, CQC, and Community Partners to manage a safe and compliant care service to vulnerable people.
* Proven experience of providing the highest standards of Home Care/Domiciliary Care.
* Previous experience working with and supporting a team.
* Strong relationship building and empathetic negotiation skills.
* Ability to convert client and recruitment enquiries for the business; work closely with Registered Care Manager & Deputy Care Manager during this process.
* Proficiency in following CQC regulations, Safeguarding Measures.
* Supervisory/Team Leader experience.
