Job summary The Medical Director will provide professional leadership for all Medical Practitioners within the Trust. They will play a key role in overseeing clinical governance as a member of the Trusts Quality Committee and attend Trust Board meetings. The Medial Director will assume the role of Caldecott Guardian for the Trust and undertake the role of GMC registered Responsible Officer for Tetbury Hospital Trust as a designated body. The Medical Director will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Matron as part of the triumvirate responsible for reporting and advising the Trust Board.
