Gas Heating Engineer - Dormanstown, Redcar
We are looking for an experienced Gas Heating Engineer to join our fantastic Gas Services team. In joining Beyond Housing, this role involves completing domestic landlord’s gas safety checks, which may also include plumbing and heating repairs, maintenance, and installation work. You'll play a key part in ensuring the company remains legislatively compliant.
You will need to have proven experience of gas servicing, maintenance and installation within the domestic sector, and have the required organisational skills needed to work in a customer focused service. We will also need you to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing, holding an equivalent such as City and Guilds Advance Craft in Plumbing, or be qualified by experience, alongside holding Gas ACS Competencies in CCN1, CPA1, MET1, CENWAT, CKR 1 and HTR 1.
You need to have knowledge of relevant plumbing, heating and gas legislation and British standards along with proven experience of working in occupied properties.
As part of this role, you may need to mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement.
As part of this role, you may be eligible for allowances including tool allowance and callout payments, which will be discussed if you are invited to an interview.
