After another successful year iM Med are looking to expand our Consumable product sales team with the appointment of up to two New Business focussed Portfolio Sales Specialists to support ongoing expansion and increasing geographical coverage of our Consumable product range. The role will be an outbound sales role involving initiating contact with prospects and customers. iM Med, the decontamination specialists, support NHS Trusts and hospitals with an extensive portfolio of infection control and decontamination products, solutions and services; from the installation and service of large decontamination capital equipment to the production and supply of single use consumable products used within endoscopy and sterile services departments. The role of the Portfolio Sales Specialist will be instrumental in delivering sustainable growth of our Consumable sales, enabling us to offer customer choice on a wider scale. The role of Portfolio Sales Specialist would suit an individual with a clinical background or similar and experience of working in the NHS or related healthcare industry, perhaps looking for a career change and an opportunity to support the NHS through the supply of specialist products into decontamination and sterile services departments throughout the UK. The Portfolio Sales Specialist will be responsible for: Initiating contact with prospects and potential customers through a combination of telephone, email and face to face approaches. Building strong relationships and trust with prospects, potential customers and key customers. Promoting iM Med Consumable products through a combination of hospital visits, exhibitions and direct marketing activities. Manage and develop accounts and own the relationship between the Company and the customer, ensuring efficient alignment of all efforts to maximise impact of all activities driving growth. Keep accurate business opportunities and call records by full use of Company CRM. Full training for the New Business focussed Portfolio Sales Specialists will be provided. Familiarity with the healthcare sector and healthcare decontamination environment is highly advantageous. Previous sales experience is not essential, although an interest in business development, consultative selling and working in a target driven environment are essential. The role will be field based with frequent travel to hospitals, trade fairs and conferences.
