What you will be doing: Whilst very much part of Ampa Group Services this unique People Advisor role will support all employees, new and existing, across the Mayo Wynne Baxter brand to enable a positive and collaborative working environment. So that's where you come in You're responsibilities will include, but not be limited to; supporting and coaching managers with any people related activity tailoring your approach to the audience working closely with hiring managers and the recruitment team; ensuring the on boarding is a great people experience responsible for the induction process for all new starters, ensuring the great people experience continues all the way to day 1 and beyond providing quality advice, leading and managing ER matters, where necessary with guidance and direction from the Senior People Advisors, People Business Partner and Employment Team building and maintaining trusted relationships with our people across the business being the first point of contact for day to day People Advisor activities and a point of contact in the absence of the People Business Partner leading and / or supporting with organisational changes, keeping track of the moving parts and handling any contentious correspondence / agreements What you will need: A positive attitude is just as important as skillset, as is the ability to build excellent working relationships The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, but in order to build these relationships it is also important to be present within our office hubs and really get to know your colleagues. We are flexible on office base which can be at any of our Sussex hubs, with the ability to easily travel to other hubs within the Sussex region when required. You will also need; a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a People Advisor role demonstrable experience of managing the on boarding process, including inductions demonstrable experience managing ER cases from start to end attention to detail is a key fundamental part of this role, with the ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of work, maintain quality and accuracy and provide excellent service delivery strong written and verbal communication skills the ability to interact with, and influence, key stakeholders at all levels with confidence and credibility to be proactive, willing to challenge and have the confidence to identify and recommend changes and improvements We embrace agile working and offer a blended approach to where and how we work.
