Teaching Assistant
Location: Sheffield
Employment Type: Full Time, Part Time, Day to Day opportunities available (Monday-Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm)

At Career Teachers, we are currently working with several primary schools in Sheffield who require Teaching Assistants to work on long-term, full-time, part-time, and day-to-day basis. We are looking for resilient Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management skills to join our successful team from January.
Your Requirements:
* Experience working with children and young people.
* A recognised teaching assistant qualification such as Level 2, Level 3 or a degree in education or transferable skills.
* Confident in managing challenging behaviours, defusing situations, and creating a calm and positive environment for students to progress in.
* A calm, patient manner with a positive can-do attitude.
Your Role:
* Work with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that pupils receive the care required to cater for their unique needs.
* Build trusting and meaningful relationships and ensure that students are engaged in learning and activities.
* This is a full-time role starting in September; we are looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who is eager to join a successful team of practitioners and make a difference!
