Job summary The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of IM&T projects, enabling the Trust to continue its successful Digital Transformation and Journey Towards Outstanding. You will have a background delivering IM&T projects within healthcare and will be able to bridge the gap between I.T. infrastructure and clinical applications, having a good, high level technical understanding of both areas. You will be a meticulous planner, a forthright and clear communicator and an extremely proactive individual. You will anticipate risks and discern issues, own problems and identify viable solutions as part of your project management activities. Main duties of the job o Lead Project Teams towards successful completion of IM&T projects. o Work with senior stakeholders to define Project Briefs and create scopes of work. o Devise and maintain thorough detailed and relevant project plans, ensuring that projects adhere to these plans. o Responsible for building and matrix managing a team of project staff where applicable, these may be resourced from within the I.T. Department, other departments or external agencies. Duties may include training, development and supervision during the project life cycle. o Maintain a view and an understanding of the wider IM&T programme, the interdependencies between projects and their impact on the realisation of strategic goals. o To identify issues and work with Project Teams to devise imaginative solutions so that projects are delivered within tolerance while delivering the forecast benefits. o To be an exemplar and leader within the IM&T Project Team, to demonstrate what excellent project management looks like and provide support and guidance to other members of the team. o To manage suppliers, gain best value for the Trust & ensure that the Trust's requirements are treated as a priority.
