Up to £60,000 AXA – Global Healthcare are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Transformation team and undertake Business Analysis across the full lifecycle of change, from initiation to project closedown. You’ll use situational analysis, impact assessments and requirements definition to inform decisions about scope, approach, business case and dependencies. What you’ll be doing: Monitoring that all change requirements are defined end-to-end and that the impact on systems, people, processes and data are understood Ensuring end-to-end requirements gathering is compliant with company standards and business and technical target architectures Working within the Business Architecture and Analysis team and adhering to the AXA – Global Healthcare business analysis framework Creating epics and user stories within Agile teams and/or producing waterfall artefacts, as required Influencing and supporting business users to define requirements rather than solutions Managing the development, distribution and baseline approval of all communication related to business requirements Reviewing test strategies, plans, criteria and results to ensure that delivery matches defined project objectives Managing change in business requirements throughout the project Identifying and incorporating synergies across projects, programmes or releases to ensure that change is delivered in the most effective way Given the number of applications we expect to receive for this role, we reserve the right to close this advertisement earlier than the listed closing date. What you’ll bring: Previous relevant business analysis experience supported by ISEB or other appropriate qualification Ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and communicate in business language Well-developed facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and documentation skills Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management skills, ability to focus business users on defining outcomes Ability to work at a conceptual level where business objectives and requirements may not be well defined Good understanding of both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies Experience of identifying and recording the impact of change on systems, people, processes and data, and supporting benefits delivery Excellent experience using an end-to-end business analysis and design framework Good understanding of technical and business architecture and strong experience of customer and employee requirements gathering to meet this Experience of working within Agile teams Knowledge of IT development lifecycles, data management theory and process design methods and strong experience of data analysis, governance and classification As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
