Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity Team
Location: Calderdale
Rate: £35 per hour
An exciting job role has recently become available at the Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council. They are looking for a new member for their Learning Disabilities and Neurodiversity team.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will be kind, caring, and work in a person-centred way. You will be competent at completing Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Assessments, and making least restrictive Best Interest Decisions. You will have experience in chairing meetings and attending court, as court experience is a requirement due to the number of people who require the Court of Protection for decisions because they no longer have mental capacity. You will need to have a strong work ethic and the ability to work on your own initiative.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a full UK license, have post-qualified experience, and hold a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
