Description We now have the opportunity for an an Area Sales Manager to join our UK Sales team and cover Yorkshire and the East Midlands region. In this role you will be responsible for selling the Honeywell Home range of products including zone valves and thermostats to local authorities, housing associations, installers, contractors, merchants, and distributors. We seek a candidate who will spend most of their time in the field, building excellent relationships with existing customers as well as securing new business for the company. JOB DUTIES: Maintaining and developing long term relationships with existing customers via face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails Identifying and visiting potential new customers for new business Making accurate, rapid sales calculations, negotiating and providing customers with special pricing documentation Managing and interpreting customer requirements Segmenting and creating area plans to ensure focus on the customers in the area who create growth Gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future buying trends Representing Resideo at trade exhibitions, events and presentations Assisting with the launch of new product introductions and Marcom campaigns Assisting the training and field support engineers with customer training and after-sales support services Recording sales meetings, activities and opportunities on the CRM system Keeping all relevant CRM data accurate and up to date Reviewing your own sales performance with the aim to meet or exceed targets Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts when required Being able to combine technical knowledge with sales skills Using your sales expense budget to maximise sales opportunities in your area YOU MUST HAVE: Experience selling technical products and meeting sales targets Excellent account management skills Willingness to spend most of your time in the field with our customers The ability to build relationships with customers quickly WE VALUE: Good understanding of plumbing and heating markets to drive a growing business (desirable not essential) The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment Someone who is excited by the thought of reaching company objectives through your sales ability WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Quarterly sales bonus scheme Company car Excellent onboarding and product training programme LI-KN1 LI-REMOTE
