We are looking for an experienced Part Time Accounts Assistant to join a small accounts department within industry leading manufacturing business.
To ensure an effective process with their suppliers, ensuring good communication to manage supplier expectations and to ensure that purchasing costs are recognised in a timely fashion. Monthly Statements reconciled and Bacs payments produced.
Ledger experience & Credit Control is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing of supplier invoices, credit notes, payments and any other authorised transaction into the accounts payable ledger
* Processing of franchise invoices and credits
* Match invoices to purchase orders
* Reconciliation of purchase ledger accounts
* Management of supplier statements
* Resolve supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
* Communication with suppliers in respect of payments
* Liaise with managers to ensure invoices are authorised
* Expenses management
* Process daily banking
* Review till and cash accounts
* Reconcile Petty Cash
* Process Payments, Expenses, Finance Settlements and any other payments onto bank
* Assist with month end duties
Technical Competencies:
* A key eye for detail and accurate data entry skills
* Strong PC skils
* relevent Account Qualifications - Full or Part Qualified
* Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
Salary is £25,000 Pro Rata - 25 to 30 hours a week
