Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. You will need to demonstrate experience working in a healthcare environment dealing with patients.
You will be working with a dedicated team of Senior Radiographers/Radiographers, Assistant Practitioners, HCAs, and administrative staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to work 40 hours per week. The successful applicant will need experience working in clinical settings or the healthcare environment.

The candidate should have experience in a healthcare environment, as they will be required to provide both administrative and patient support, including chaperoning patients and assisting Radiographers during scans. They will also have a commitment to admin duties related to the patient pathway, in line with standard guidelines. Good communication skills (both written and verbal), IT and administration skills, and understanding radiation protection protocols are essential. Excellent patient care skills are also required.
Attention to detail, flexibility, organization, and enthusiasm are key qualities for this role.
You will need to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines and turnaround times.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in patient preparation
2. Chaperoning
3. Cannulation
4. Positioning patients on the scanner
5. Managing clinical stock
6. Conducting clinical audits
7. Processing patients via our E-Systems
