Southend on sea city council has a great opportunity for a customer support administrator to join the customer support hub on a full time and permanent basis. This role will be based at the civic centre and Alan Cole house children’s centre in Shoeburyness office. As a member of our Customer Support hub, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks including: • Reception duties over 2 sites across the city of Southend-on-Sea • Meeting and greeting customers Assisting customers with the telephones and online form completion • Preparing children’s files • Providing advice and guidance • Signposting customers • Receiving documents ensuring they are correctly labelled • Data input using a range of systems To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills, with good IT skills. You must have a passion to exceed service expectations by being friendly, professional, collaborative, and responsive. You will also be able to build strong relationships both internally and externally. The ability to move around the different hubs within the service. The ability to travel around the city of Southend-on-Sea sometimes at short notice.
