What The Job Looks Like Each day you'll enjoy a variety of challenges, such as: Assess and validate pre-due diligences and due diligences on supply chain feasibility according to Grünenthal best practices Ensuring validate the supply chain robustness of the potential product, portfolio and/or company aquisitions according to Grünenthal standards Assess the potential new deals end-to-end supply chain cost-effectiveness to support company`s business case decision and identify potential risks within the supply chain Overarching the supply chain end-to-end new deal process management focused on linking activities into a single, seamless process that supports supply chain value creation. Developing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure efficient and reliable continuity of supply. Using data analytics to drive comprehensive supply chain network and cost assesment. Building and leading a team to support supply chain integration operations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Measuring cost, reliability, inventory, and time at each activity node in the supply chain while eliminating non-value time, work, and other types of waste Providing supply chain stakeholders with visibility to proactively identify issues and major cost savings What You'll Bring To The Table To make the most of this role and truly thrive, you should have: University degree preferably in Engineering or Business with major in Supply Chain/Operations Many years professional experience in Supply Chain/Operations Management Experience in successfully leading Supply Chain Transformation projects/programs experience Understanding of basic financial controlling terminology and tools – in particular, P&L impacts Ability to lead in fast changing, ambiguous and uncertain environment Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills Strong external customer focus and excellent presentation skills Outstanding stakeholder management skills – in particular convincing & influencing skills Experience with ERP (SAP/APO/SNP) & Demand Planning modules is preferred Fluent in English
