Sedgwick Resource Solutions are looking for a confident, experienced claims handler/processor who is interested into moving into the specialist field of subsidence claims.
Subsidence claims typically focus around properties that have been damaged due to movement in the ground soil causing the property to shift.Subsidence claims are an ongoing learning opportunity due to their complexity but can lead to an interesting and varied career path.
Don't worry if you're not familiar with this type of claim, you'll be put through training and supported throughout your development, working with colleagues and adjusters.
Your skills and experience
Experience in end to end claims handling, ideally in property/home/contents but other claim types will be considered.
Ability to deal with an environment where you will be expected to take, and make calls.
Handling complaints in line with FCA regulations.
The ability to negotiate and gather vital information relevant to each claim.
The ability to use a firm but fair approach and display empathy.
To be comfortable discussing outcomes and claims with the client and policyholders professionally
