YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
WSP has a vacant position for a Cyber Security Consultant to join our industry-leading Intelligent Transport Services team, delivering specialist cyber security services to a wide spectrum of industries. As a key part of the team, you will provide cyber security and strategy advice, technical assurance, solution guidance, specification, design, and testing assurance to our domestic and international clients.
You will lead WSP Intelligent Transport Services cyber security deliverables throughout the lifecycle of IT or OT development and Digital Transformation projects, providing strategic advice across our client spectrum.
YOUR TEAM
You and your team will be involved in the following activities:
* Advising clients on Cyber Security compliance regarding NIS-D, NIST, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, and other relevant industry standards
* Developing a framework for governance as well as Cyber Security and Information Security Management systems
* Analysing Cyber Security controls, commenting on architecture proposals, and conducting Threat and Risk assessments
* Cyber Security requirements analysis tailored to the client’s needs
* Understanding business and technical requirements and translating them into tangible actions
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
* Expertise in IT, OT, and IoT/IIoT cyber security
* Industry-specific experience in applied cyber security, ideally in Automotive/Road or Rail
* Team leadership skills and experience in early career professional development
* Familiarity with Government Frameworks
* Experience writing proposals in collaboration with the sales team
* Skills in Threat modelling, Vulnerability analysis, Risk matrix modelling
* Knowledge of Security Policy and governance
* Experience with Cloud Security, including OT in the Cloud
* Familiarity with Incident Management frameworks, Security incident analysis, digital forensics, crisis management, and SOC operations
We are looking for someone with practical knowledge of risk assessment methodologies in systems and software development (including Agile and ITIL processes and V-model).
If you have experience authoring and publishing technical reports, advising clients, and working with formal security frameworks like ISA/IEC 62443, you would be a valuable asset to our team.
